Mister Matthew Parker III
"Matty"
We would like to share with you our
pride and joy, Mister Matthew Parker III or Matty as we like to call him.
He is a Yorkshire Terrier born on November 12, 2006 -- just one day
after our youngest son, Joe married Emily. We are dog lovers and had miniature
Schnauzers when our sons were growing up. Having to adjust to the empty
nest syndrome when both boys moved out, we found ourselves looking for something
to fill that void. Mattie has been the answer to our prayers.

My first walk on the beach. Boy was that an adventure.
Me in my car seat on the way home from the beach.

I finally got to go for a daily walk with mom and
day. And see I wasn't even to tired when we got home. ( 50 minute walk )

Man is my hair ever going to grow out from my eyes.
Just between you and me, I think mom's about ready to cut it off.

I found this stick on the beach and mom started playing fetch with me. We had so
much fun but it was really windy.

I know she has treats in there --- see I told you
so. I'll do anything for a treat.

Let me in -- please. I'll be good.

Mattie came from a litter of two. This
is Mattie's birth brother "Peanut". He weighs less than 3 pounds. I think they
remembered each other. They had a blast playing together. Peanut lives with an 8
pound Jack Russell so he wasn't afraid of Mattie at all and could hold his own.

I am such a good boy. I know all kinds of
tricks. My best trick is sit and stay because I love to play hide and seek with
my tennis ball.
